Building Healthier Communities Eligibility Guidelines
Eligible organizations can submit requests once per calendar year and must meet the following criteria:
Must have current 501(c)3 status
Proposed programming must benefit populations or communities in the five-county southeastern Pennsylvania area.
Have not received funding from the IBC Foundation for more than two consecutive years in a three-year period. For example: if grant awards are received in 2016 and 2017, an organization is ineligible to apply for funding in 2018.
Funding requests up to $25,000 will be considered. Grant requests will be evaluated based on the following criteria. Organizations must:
Make a measurable and positive impact on the health of a specific community or population (defined as a geographic area, an ethnic group, or an age group)
Accomplish clearly defined goals as outlined in the grant application
Have a clear strategy and staffing to implement and manage the proposed project
Demonstrate fiscal responsibility through a detailed and realistic project budget
Applications are invitation only. Letters of interest are accepted year-round. Letters of interest received by February 9, 2018 will be considered for the first cycle of funding in 2018.
Invitations to submit a full application will be communicated by February 12, 2018.
